A salute to Morri Rose and the OJGT, Job Well Done! 29 off to college golf

Here at Golf Oklahoma, we’d like to take a moment to salute Morri Rose, the founder of the Oklahoma Junior Golf Tour, which is a division of the Oklahoma Golf Association.

Look at the list below of  29 2013 OJGT players who have signed scholarships to play collegiate golf. It is simply astounding. They will join more than 80 OJGT graduates already in college and more than 300 since the program’s inception in 2002.

College is a reward in itself, but some of these players are going on to careers in professional golf as well. Currently some of the high profile OJGT graduates are Kevin Tway and Robert Streb on the PGA Tour, Ryan Spears on the Web.com Tour and Anya Alvarez on the LPGA Tour.

Congratulations to all the great players below and good luck in college. And thanks again to Morri Rose for helping turn Oklahoma into a junior golf power where players can stay close to home and play in high quality events and get recognized and rewarded for their play.
