MIAMI – The golf professionals of the Adams Golf Pro Tour Series are scheduled for 72 holes of competition at Peoria Ridge Golf Course, June 11-14.
“We are thrilled to once again host the Adams Golf Pro Tour in Miami," said Chief John Froman of the Peoria Tribe, owners of Peoria Ridge Golf Course. "The association with the Adams Golf Pro Tour Series is a good fit since they are based in Texas and host tournaments in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Kansas."
“Expanding the number of events we conduct in Oklahoma has been a focus for us for some time now”, says Gary DeSerrano, president of the Adams Golf Pro Tour. “We are thrilled to be returning to Miami for a second year. Chief Froman and the Peoria Tribe of Indians were terrific hosts and provided a great venue for the 2013 event and we want to continue the great tradition of bringing pro golf and the future stars of the PGA to Northeast Oklahoma.”
Title sponsors for this event, as in 2013, are Buffalo Run Casino and Resort, owned by the Peoria Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma, and the new Prairie Sun and Prairie Moon Casinos, owned by the Miami Nation of Oklahoma.
“The Buffalo Run Casino and Resort is proud to continue our partnership with the Prairie Sun and Prairie Moon Casinos as title sponsors of this event,” said Steve Bashore, Buffalo Run Casino general manager.
“The Miami Nation of Oklahoma appreciates this opportunity to again join with the Peoria Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma in bringing professional golf to Miami, and participate as co-title sponsors this event”, says Chief Doug Lankford. Prairie Sun and Prairie Moon Casinos are business ventures of the Miami Nation.
