Chirapat Jao-Javanil was sensational for the Sooners on Monday, carding a bogeyless 3-under 69. The senior jumped 19 places on the leaderboard after her first-round 72  to an eighth-place tie.

Seniors Anne-Catherine Tanguay and Emily Collins both shot an even-par 72 Monday. Tanguay overcame five bogeys on the day by recording the same number of birdies, most on the team. She is tied for eighth place with Jao-Javanil. Collins birdied three of her first six holes on the back nine and improved one spot to a 17th-place tie.

Freshman Alexandra Kaui, who shot a bogey-free 4-under 68 Sunday, recorded a second-round 73 (+1) and fell five spots to a tie for eighth place.

Senior Kaitlyn Rohrback rounded out the squad’s scoring, logging a 75 (+3) on the day. After shooting a 2-under 70 in the first round, Rohrback is tied for 26th.

Oklahoma head coach Veronique Drouin-Luttrell said she was pleased with her team’s performance for the second day in a row.

"We played well again today," Drouin-Luttrell said. "We made some birdies coming down the stretch. We need to play our own game tomorrow and see what we can make happen."

The Sooners, who are looking for their second straight Alamo Invitational title, will tee off in Tuesday’s final round 8:45 a.m. CT (shotgun start). Live stats are available on Golfstat.com.
