Phillips, of Edmond, who advanced to match play in last year’s U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship, had the first-round lead with a 66, but closed with a 72 to finish a shot behind Bonaobra, who recently concluded his high school career at Union.

Jeffrey Cox shot 73-68 to take third at 141 and defending champion Garrett Jelley shot 2-under after rounds of 71-71 to place fourth.

Todd Raffensperger shot 4-under 140 after consecutive rounds of 70 to win the Senior Championship Flight by four shots over Rickie Cavener (70-74).
