Burrows leads ORU charge at Missouri Tiger Invitational

COLUMBIA, Mo. –Cody Burrows shot under par in the final two rounds (69-71) and finished the tournament in the red for the second tournament in a row and the third time in the last four tournaments, tying for 15th as Oral Roberts moved up to ninth in the team standings Tuesday at the Missouri Tiger Invitational.

Burrows earned his sixth top 20 finish of the year. Missouri led from wire to wire with an 11-shot victory and a team score of 839 (275-283-281).

The 293 in the second round was the best round in the last two tournaments, and the 295 in the final round tied the second best score during that stretch. ORU now has three straight top 10 finishes as a team after finishing third and fourth in the previous two tournaments.
