Busy week for Chance Cozby as Phoenix Open chairman

Golf Louisiana Style! 15 courses by designers including Hal Sutton, David Toms and Pete Dye. After your round, you’ll find our “Sportsman’s Paradise” has so much more to offer with great food, fishing, music and gaming.

If you’re not one of the 600,000 or so people with tickets in hand to attend the Waste Management Phoenix Open his week in Scottsdale, don’t bother asking Chance Cozby. He’s running the show this week as tournament chairman and plenty busy himself.

Chance is the youngest son of Oklahoma Golf Hall of Fame professional Jerry Cozby of Bartlesville and when not volunteering his time with the Thunderbirds who run the annual tournament/party in the desert, he is the vice president of sports development for Ping. Here is a link to more information on his role this week. And here is a story on his appointment that ran earlier in Golf Oklahoma.
