Callison, Carson win OGA Four-Ball, Nick, Young hold on in senior division

Jeremy Callison and Tyler Carson combined on a 6-under 66 in the second round to win the Oklahoma Golf Association Four-Ball Championship Tuesday at the Golf Club of Oklahoma in Broken Arrow.

The duo finished two shots clear of Levi Molini and Trae Elias, who shot consecutive rounds of 4-under 68 and finished at 8-under 136.

In the Senior Division, first-round leaders Jerry Nick and Billy Ray Young held on with a second-round 70, one shot better than Kirk Wright and Mike Hughett who made a second-round charge with a 66. Nick and Young finished at 6-under 138 while Hughett and and Wright at 5-under 139. Another shot back in third were Terry Collier and Art Bennett at 140 (68-72).

The Four-Ball Championship was postponed from its usual date in the spring after running into a scheduling conflict at its original site The Golf Club of Edmond.
