PARKER, Colo. – Oklahoma State’s men’s golf team will resume action this week when it takes part in the inaugural Paintbrush Invitational at Colorado Golf Club.

The Cowboys will carry a No. 2 national ranking into this week’s event at the par-72, 7,357-yard layout. The tournament field is comprised of 15 teams and will be contested over two days with 36 holes being played on Monday and 18 on Tuesday. First-round action will get underway at 8:30 a.m. (MST). OSU will be grouped with Denver, Oregon and Texas Tech to begin play.

This week’s event is the third of four this fall for the Cowboys who opened the year with a win at The Carmel Cup before posting a runner-up finish in their most recent outing at the Olympia Fields/Fighting Illini Invitational.

Junior Sam Stevens, who has earned top-10 finishes in both of the squad’s tournaments this fall, will lead the OSU starting five. He will be joined in the lineup by sophomore Zach Bauchou, freshman Viktor Hovland as well as juniors Brendon Jelley and Stratton Nolen.

Sophomore Hayden Wood and junior Kristoffer Ventura will compete individually. They will be grouped with Isaac Petersillie of Denver and Kevin Geniza of Oregon.
