Cowgirls climb into sixth at Stanford Intercollegiate

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. – Emma Broze carded a 2-under par 71 to highlight the Oklahoma State women’s golf team’s third round of the Stanford Intercollegiate.

The Cowgirls shot 11-over par 284 in the final round to finish in a tie for sixth. After a slow start in the opening round, OSU rallied to jump seven spots on the leaderboard over the final two days.

Broze was able to jump 17 spots on the leaderboard to end the tournament tied for 12th thanks to rounds of 76-72-69.

Fellow senior Kenzie Neisen followed Broze and posted a 1-over par for her third round. Neisen finished the tournament tied for the 35th spot on the leaderboard.

Junior Chih-Min Chen finished 5-over par and tied for 28th, while senior Alexis Sadeghy shot 7-over par and tied for 56th.

The Cowgirls will hit the fairways again on Oct. 27 for the Landfall Tradition in Wilmington, North Carolina.
