STANFORD, Calif. – The Oklahoma State women’s golf team wraps up fall play this weekend against a top-notch field at the Stanford Intercollegiate.
Anchored by Big 12 Golfer of the Month, Linnea Johansson, the No. 18 Cowgirls will be taking on ten other top-40 school, including five schools in the top-10 in the country. Host Stanford is currently the No. 2 team in the country, and will be playing on their home track, Stanford Golf Course.
Johansson racked up an NCAA-high 31 birdies and a 69.50 stroke average in six competitive rounds in Sept. It was the first career monthly award for the WGCA All-American, who closed out the month ranked as the No. 17 player in the country according to Golfstat.
Cowgirl Isabella Deilert is playing the best golf of her career. The senior has a 73.11 stroke average through nine rounds this fall, and is coming off a 3-over 219 at the Windy City Collegiate.
Two-time Big 12 Individual Champion Kenzie Neisen, Alexis Sadeghy and Big 12 Freshman of the Year Chih-Min Chen will round out the Cowgirl lineup.
