Creel edges McCracken to win Adams Tour event at Bella Vista

Former University of Central Oklahoma golfer Josh Creel closed with a 65 Saturday to finish at 14-under par and win the Cooper Communities Northwest Arkansas Classic at Bella Vista, Ark., by two shots over former University of Tulsa golfer Logan McCracken of Oklahoma City.

Creel shot rounds o 67-72-70-65 to earn the $20,000 first-place check. McCracken earned $10,000 for second place after rounds of 68-72-68-68.

Former Oklahoma State golfer Edward Loar tied for third place at 10-under, while Cameron Meyers of Edmond also notched a top-10 finish with a tie for eighth place at 6-under par.
