The PGA Tour debut of University of Oklahoma golfer Brad Dalke of Hobart had a rocky end, as Dalke shot an 85 in the second round of the Valero Texas Open to finish last among those who played two full rounds at 14-over.

After a solid start with a 1-over 73 in his first round, Dalke’s second round disintegrated when he went 7-over on the final three holes of his front nine, including a 9 on the par-5 eighth hole. He then shot 41 on the back nine including four bogeys and a double.

Also missing the cut was PGA Tour rookie Rhein Gibson of Edmond, who shot 74-72 to finish at 2-over, two shots over the cut line.

The results were better for players with Oklahoma ties on the Web.com Tour in the El Bosque Mexico Championship. Making the cut were Kevin Tway of Edmond (T-8), Ian Davis of Edmond (T-26), Tag Ridings formerly of Tulsa (T-26), former Oklahoma State player Edward Loar (T-53), former Tulsan Brad Elder (T-63) and Ryan Spears of Del City (T-63).
