Dalke, Gibson to finish first rounds today

With one birdie and one bogey, University of Oklahoma golfer Brad Dalke was even par through eight holes before play was suspended due to darkness Thursday in the Valero Texas Open, his first professional event.

Dalke, who teed off on the back nine of the AT&T Oaks Course, is playing in the event on an exemption for having won the 2015 Junior PGA Championship.

Edmond-based PGA Tour rookie Rhein Gibson was even par after nine holes before his round was suspended. Follow live scoring at www.pgatour.com.
