Fairlie wins WOGA Senior State Championship

LeeAnn Fairlie of Oklahoma City shot a second-round 74 and cruised to a five-shot victory over Janet Miller in the Women’s Oklahoma Golf Association Senior State Championship Wednesday at River Oaks Country Club in Edmond.

Miller shot consecutive rounds of 75 to finish four shots clear of Nan Dyer of Oklahoma City, while Chrissy Bagwell of Edmond took fourth after rounds of 77-79.

Fairlie has three-time state amateur championships among her numerous career accomplishments and was elected to the Women’s Oklahoma Golf Hall of Fame in 2012.
