First round of The Prestige cancelled due to high winds

The first round of The Prestige at PGA West in La Quinta, Calif., on Monday (Feb. 19) has been canceled due to high winds exceeding 40 miles per hour.

Top-ranked Oklahoma State is competing in the event, which was delayed multiple times Monday before the decision to ultimately cancel Monday’s action.

There is no makeup round, the tournament now set for 36 holes. Scoring is at www.golfstat.com.
