FlyingTee announces partner for next wave of locations

The owners of FlyingTee in Jenks have announced a partnership with ADMI, a company specializing in design and program project management, to help with all phases of the next round of FlyingTee ventures, at least four of which will be announced in the spring of 2018, according to James Vollbrect, co-founder and chief technology officer.

“We are excited to partner with ADMI,” Vollbrecht said. “Allen Moyer has assembled a team with proven design and program/project management talent with decades of experience in retail, hospitality and entertainment development working for industry leading Fortune 100 clients.”

Vollbrecht said ADMI will assist with every phase of building the next generation of FlyingTee. The Jenks location is a three-story “eatertainment” complex with 60 heated and chilled hitting bays in which golfers play a variety of games based on FlyingTee’s proprietary technology based on tracking shots rather than installing chips in the balls.

FlyingTee opened in Jenks in 2016 and more than 400,000 customers have visited. James Vollbrecht and his brother John have made continual tweaks and improvements, most notably going to a single-restaurant concept throughout the three-story structure after originally opening with a different restaurant on each level.

The lessons learned will be implemented at the new locations. Vollbrecht said he could not reveal the locations, he said plans are to build in both mid-size markets such as Tulsa and “NFL markets.” He said plans are to offer franchises and at least one of the next four locations would be a franchise.

According to the press release, ADMI provides a menu of services to assist clients in managing programs and projects.  ADMI clients include many industry icon, global Fortune 100 companies in the entertainment, retail and hospitality sectors and the company assists with the rollout of multiple, high tech, concurrent projects with careful management of schedule, budget and quality.

“We’re relying on them to make sure FlyingTee 2.0 is innovative, well-designed and retains our family fun atmosphere like we have in Jenks,” Vollbrecht said.
