The Women's Oklahoma Golf Hall of Fame inducted four members at a banquet Sunday night at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City.
Lucy Beeler, LeeAnn Hammack Fairlie and Jeannie Thompson Rogers were inducted along with the posthumous induction of former Oklahoma City golf pro U.C. Ferguson.
Hall of Fame board member Ann Pitts Turner also announced the winners of special awards presented by the Hall of Fame board. The Jarita Askins Service Award winners were Becky Masoner for 2010 and Susan Hall for 2011. The Carol Belcher Collins Sportsmanship Award went to Nadia Majidi, a member of the First Tee of Tulsa, for 2010 and Taylor Boylan for 2011. The 2011 Mabel Hotz Participation Awards, given to the public and private courses that sent the most participants to the State Junior Championship, were Lake Hefner Golf Course and the Broken Arrow Golf and Athletic Club.
Pitts announced that the next induction banquet will be held in 2015 to coincide with the 100-year anniversary of the founding of the Women's Oklahoma Golf Association.
