Jelley, Finley win SC Players Tour event at Stillwater CC

Garrett Jelley of Tulsa and Katie Finley of Ardmore won the 2015 South Central Section Players Tour Stillwater Championship June 22-23 at Stillwater Country Club.

Jelley, age 17, posted rounds of 73-72 for a two-day total of 145 and a two-stroke victory over Joseph Lemieux, age 17, of Newalla. Finley, age 15, posted rounds of 80-85 for a two-day total of 165 and a one-stroke victory over Lauren Barnes, age 17, of Choctaw.

The Players Tour is a series of five 36-hole competitions, with point earners attempting to qualify for the South Central PGA’s flagship junior event, the 2nd Oakley Cup Matches Aug. 8-9, at Shangri-La Golf Club on Grand Lake.
