Jim Beam Folds of Honor Classic raises record amount

A record $18,132 was donated to the Folds of Honor Foundation after the recent Jim Beam Folds of Honor Classic at Shangri-La Resort.
 
There were 116 contestants in this yer’s field, the largest charitable fundraising event of the year for Shangri-La. The Folds of Honor, based in Owasso, awards scholarships to the children of U.S. armed service members killed or injured in the line of duty. It is based in Owasso by The Patriot golf club.
 
The Thoroughbred Wealth Management team of Jason Benson, Seth Smiley, Rick Reed,  and Dan Robinson shot 22-under to win the event, followed  by the team of Dave Nowland, Stacy Lamb, Cory Burd, and Keith Callery. The team of Richard Lippitt, Sean O’Grady, and Scott Brecheisen took third.
