Kropp takes two-shot lead over Texas duo into final round of Oklahoma Open

Will Kropp shot a second-round 67 to move to 8-under-par and take a two shot lead over Texas-based pros Tyler Sheppard of Fort Worth and Robby Ormand of Austin into the final round of the Oklahoma Open at Oak Tree Country Club.

Kropp, an Edmond North graduate who played at Oklahoma and this year has been successful on the Latin America PGA Tour, will tee off on the Oak Tree East course at 10:20 a.m. Sunday. Admission is free.

Both Sheppard and Ormand have been successful on the Adams Tour and other min-tours.

The penultimate group will have plenty of firepower to give chase as well. Recent OSU golfer Ian Davis will be looking to add the Oklahoma Open to the Colorado Open he won a few weeks back. Cameron Meyers has been rapidly improving since turning professional in 2013 and former UCO golfer Colby Shrum of Perry is always capable of a low score. All of those golfers are at 4 under par.
