Mabry, Staggs lead Golden Hurricane

COLLEGE GROVE, Tenn.  – The University of Tulsa shot 308 in the second round of the Intercollegiate at The Grove Monday, moving up one spot to 11th place.

Senior Matt Mabrey shot a second-round 75 and is tied for 11th place at 3-over par. Fellow senior Colton Staggs shot his second consecutive 74, improving 10 spots from tied for 26th place yesterday to tied for 16th place today.

Matthew Marquez and Cody Kent are tied at 157 through the first two rounds while sophomore Francisco Yanez sits at 160 heading into round three action.
 
Troy remains atop the leaderboard at 583, four shots ahead of GRU Augusta. Dawson Armstrong of Lipscomb leads the individual race at 5-under after rounds of 66-73.
