The Maxwell to be broadcast Friday live from Oak Tree CC

The Maxwell golf tournament will be televised live by Sooner Sports TV on Friday from 1:30-6:30 p.m. CT on Fox Sports Southwest and Fox College Sports Pacific.

The broadcast will cover the second round of the 54-hole, two-day tournament held in Edmond, Okla., at Oak Tree Country Club. The channels will reach a total of 90 million households, and streaming will also be available through the FOX Sports GO app with cable package authentication.

SSTV personality Chad McKee will provide play-by-play during the round, while Golfweek college golf writer Lance Ringler and former OU golfer and professional Hunter Haas will serve as analysts.

The broadcast will mark the first time that Sooner Sports TV has televised a regular-season golf event live. SSTV will deploy 15 cameras and utilize state-of-the-art cell bonding transmissions provided by LiveU to transmit signals back to SoonerVision studios in Norman.

Fans can also attend The Maxwell free of charge April 14-15. Competing will be Augusta State, No. 1 Baylor, No. 24 Colorado, East Carolina, Liberty, Memphis, New Mexico, North Texas, No. 13 Oklahoma, No. 5 Oklahoma State, SMU, UCLA, UTSA and Wichita State.
