McAllister out at U.S. Junior Amateur, Son match delayed in Girls’ Junior

It was mixed results Wednesday for Oklahoma competitors in the U.S. Junior Amateur and U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship.

Logan McAllister of Oklahoma City lost in the first round of match play to Robin Williams of England 2 and 1 at the Junior Amateur at Baltusrol.

Across the country at foggy Poppy Hills in Northern California, Yujeong Son of Norman was 2 up through nine holes in her first-round match with Savanah Grewall of Canada when darkness fell. First and second round matches will be completed today.
