McGraw, McCrate to join Swing Fit Radio Hour Saturday

Golf Louisiana Style! 15 courses by designers including Hal Sutton, David Toms and Pete Dye. After your round, you’ll find our “Sportsman’s Paradise” has so much more to offer with great food, fishing, music and gaming.

You won’t want to miss this week’s edition of the Swing Fit Golf Oklahoma Radio Hour. Former Oklahoma State and current Baylor coach Mike McGraw will be coaching his No. 1 ranked Bears this week at The Maxwell at Oak Tree Country Club. He’ll join us live before Saturday’s tee time to discuss his new book “Better Than I Found It, My Life In Coaching.”

The book takes the readers through the ups and downs of McGraw’s coaching career at Oklahoma State, where he won a national championship his first year, nearly won two others but wound up getting released by Mike Holder after missing the NCAA Tournament in consecutive seasons.

Also this week we’ll be joined by Pat McCrate, Director of Golf at LaFortune Park, with updates on all the activities and tournaments coming up at LaFortune Park and South Lakes and a look back at last week’s Masters. And it’s time to start giving away some free golf, so call in with your comments at 918-460-5925.

The Swing Fit Radio Hour is 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on The Tulsa Sports Animal, 97.1 FM, hosted by Dave Sittler, Tracy Phillips and Ken MacLeod. If you ever miss a show or a particular guest, you can hear the podcasts on
