Myers, Kedy cruise in OGA Spring Four-Ball Championship, Tettleton, Oakes win senior division

Scott Kedy of Oklahoma City and Heath Myers of Kingfisher cooled off only slightly in the second round, shooting a 6-under 66 after an opening 61 to win the Oklahoma Golf Association Spring Four-Ball Championship by three shots over Charlie Crouse and Bill Bishop Jr. (66-64) Tuesday at Twin Hills Country Club in Oklahoma City.

Bryce Newell and Scott Newell took third place at 133 (67-66), a shot ahead of Jeff Coffman and Brian Birchell (68-66).

In the Senior Four-Ball, long-time Major League baseball player Mickey Tettleton of Norman showed his proficiency on the links, teaming with Jeff Oakes of Edmond to shoot rounds of 66-69 and edge long-time OGA stalwarts Michael Alsup and Ken Kee by a shot (66-70). Tim McFarland and Cliff Merritt were another shot back in third (67-70). Complete results below.
