Myers maintains slim advantage in OGA Stroke Play Championship

Heath Myers held on to his one-shot lead through 36 holes of the Oklahoma Golf Association Stroke Play Championship on the East Course at Oak Tree Country Club in Edmond. A second-round of even-par 70 has the Kingfisher resident one shot ahead of Carson Tewell of Edmond, who also shot 70 in the second round.

Kason Cook of Hydro is three back of Myers at 1-over 141 after a second-round 70, while that same score moved Kyle Hudelson of Edmond into a tie for fourth with Hunter Laughlin of Tulsa and Casey Paul of Tahlequah. Ten golfers are within five shots of the lead.
