Oaks renovation chosen one of nation’s best by Golf Digest

Golf Louisiana Style! 15 courses by designers including Hal Sutton, David Toms and Pete Dye. After your round, you’ll find our “Sportsman’s Paradise” has so much more to offer with great food, fishing, music and gaming.

The renovation by Atlanta-based architect Bill Bergin of The Oaks Country Club in Tulsa has been chosen as one of Golf Digest’s Best New Remodels of 2015. The renovation was ranked fourth out of the ten golf courses chosen from across the country.

The Oaks was built in 1921 and features an original A.W. Tillinghast-designed course. Panelists stated that the "Redesign brought the Tillinghast design back out from the cobwebs" and that the course was "A pleasant surprise." Reconstruction began in June 2014, and the course reopened in May.
