OCU’s Goodin is SAC Golfer of the Week

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University’s Caroline Goodin took Sooner Athletic Conference women’s golfer of the week.

During the week of April 6-12, Goodin, a sophomore from Oklahoma City, picked up a season-best second-round finish in the Oklahoma Baptist Invitational on April 6-7 at Lincoln Park’s East Course.

Goodin shot 73-74–147 to end four strokes off the pace to lead the Stars, ranked fourth in the NAIA, to their first tournament victory of 2014-15. She buried six birdies during the event.
On the season, Goodin has supplied Oklahoma City with a 78.79 stroke average.

The defending national champion Stars look to capture their fourth consecutive league title in the SAC Championships on April 20-21 at Twin Hills Golf & Country Club in Oklahoma City.
