BRYAN, Texas — Oklahoma State’s men’s golf team closed play at the Aggie Invitational on Sunday with a 308 during its third round to finish tied for fourth place at Traditions Golf Club.
The Cowboys’ 20-over score gave them a 54-hole tally of 906, 42-over, and tied them with California. OSU finished three shots behind Texas Tech at the par-72, 7,146-yard layout. LSU and Texas A&M shared top honors with each squad posting 35-over totals of 899.
Cal’s Brandon Hagy used a 71 during his third round to post a 4-under total of 212, giving him a three-shot victory.
A trio of Cowboys earned top 10s with redshirt freshman Wyndham Clark leading the way. Clark closed with a 75 to finish tied for sixth place at 222.
Joining Clark in the top 10 was senior Talor Gooch, who finished with a 75 as well to tie for 10th place at 224.
Senior Ian Davis, who competed as an individual, also tied for 10th place after signing for a 79.
Sophomore Jordan Niebrugge’s 75 tied him for 30th place at 231, while senior Kevin Dougherty closed with an 83 to get in with a 235 score and tied for 41st place.
Freshman Zachary Olsen’s 83 tied him for 48th place at 237.
OSU will resume its spring slate on April 25 at the Big 12 Championship in Trinity, Texas.
