ORU places 11th in David Toms Intercollegiate

BATON ROUGE, La. – The Oral Roberts men’s golf team finished the David Toms Intercollegiate in 11th place after finishing the 54-hole tournament at 908 (296-311-301).  LSU led the entire way to win at 843 (282-281-280), shooting 21 under par and was the only team to break par.

Jack Howes had one of eight eagles during the tournament, holing out in three on the par five 17th hole in the second round.

After recording 14 birdies in the first round, ORU had just six in the second round. The Golden Eagles responded with 10 birdies in the final round. Cody Burrows had four birdies in the final round, including three straight holes going 3-2-4 on 15-17.
