ORU women trail Denver in Summit League Championship

NEBRASKA CITY, Neb. –  The Oral Roberts University women’s golf team shot 315 in the opening round of the 2016 Summit League Championship and sits in second place with two rounds to play. Denver took a commanding lead after shooting 295 on Monday.

News & Notes
–  ORU was led by Paola Aviles who finished the day with pars on six of her last seven holes to finish at 78.

– Three Golden Eagles finished one shot back of Aviles at 79 and are all tied for 17th overall.

– Shinwoo Lee is tied for fourth in the field in par 5 scoring (4.75, -1).

– Paty Torres is tied for third in the field with 12 pars.

Up Next
