OU’s Wood earns spot in U.S. Women’s Open

University of Oklahoma golfer Hannah Wood grabbed one of two spots available and Oklahoma State golfer Chih-Min Chen earned an alternate spot in sectional qualifying for the U.S. Women’s Open Monday at Shady Oaks Country Club in Westworth Village, Texas.

Among the Oklahomans who did not advance were Taylor Neidy of Clinton, Sydney Cox of Thackerville, Sydney Youngblood of Durant, Yujeong Son of Norman and Alexis Sadeghy of Edmond and Oklahoma State.
