Golfers, it’s again time to play one of the best courses in the United States while supporting one of the best causes. The 12th annual First Tee of Tulsa Charitable Golf Tournament scheduled Oct. 13 at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa is now accepting entries.

The event will have morning and afternoon shotgun starts and is limited to the first 120 players on a first come, first served basis. The format is a four-man shamble with prizes for the low net and low gross teams using a 50 percent of your handicap format.  Lunch and other amenities included. Cost is $475 per person and corporate sponsorships are available.

All money raised at the event goes to benefit the First Tee of Tulsa Youth Program. Located at Mohawk Park Golf Course and run by Janice Gibson, Tulsa’s First Tee program has long been recognized as one of the most active and well-run in the country. More than 13,800 children have participated and more than $873,000 has been raised at the past 11 tournaments to fund programming at the First Tee, which benefits children of all social strata and diversities.

To register or for more information, call Nancy Acton at 918-477-5274 or email her at nacton@southernhillscc.org to request an entry form.
