Said Powers of Edmond and Emilee Rigsby of Fort Gibson won their divisions of the 2015 South Central PGA Players Tour Terradyne Championship Tuesday at Terradyne Country Club in Wichita.

Powers posted a final round 72 to force a three way sudden-death playoff with Jack Glenn of Stillwater and Jacob Lackey of McPherson, Kansas. All three players made par on the first and second playoff hole. On the par-3 third hole, Lackey and Powers missed the green and Glenn’s approach landed 30 feet from the hole. After Lackey’s chip to five feet, Powers drained a 50-footer from off the green for birdie. Glenn’s birdie attempt missed right, giving Powers the victory.

Rigsby posted a final round 80 to win by one stroke over Olivia Schmidt of Edmond, who shot a final round 75.

With the win, both Powers and Rigsby captured the 2015 South Central PGA Players Tour Player of the Year honors. The Terradyne Championship was the last of five point-earning events used to qualify for the year-end Oakley Cup, slated for August 8-9 at Shangri-La Golf Club. The final Oakley Cup standings and teams will be announced on Wednesday, July 29.
