Price leads NSU to MIAA title, UCO second

Baylee Price romped to the individual title by 11 shots, leading Northeastern State to the MIAA Championship Wednesday at Swope Memorial Golf Course in Kansas City, Mo.

 Price shot a final round 76 to finish a 4-over 219, well ahead of second-place Elizabeh Leath of Central Missouri at 230. NSU shot a final round 317 to finish at 922, 20 shots better than defending champion Central Oklahoma, which shot a final round 312 to finish at 942.

 NSU’s Ebba Mobert tied for third individually at 16-over 232 after a final round of 80 with UCO’s Camilla Schou. Marla Souvannasing also had a top-five finish for UCO, finishing with a 76 to shoot 17-over 233.

 NSU had three other players in the top 12, as Kelsey Lumpkin finished seventh at 235 after an 81, Kayla Schroeder was 11th at 240 following an 84 and Charter Lawson wasa 12th at 242 with a final-round 80.

For UCO, Daniela Martinez tied for eighth at 238 with a 78 Wednesday, Makena Mucciaccio was 10th at 239 after an 81 and Grace Shin tied for 13th at 244 with an 80.
