Oklahomans have a chance to play some great golf courses in our state and around the country, while donating to a good cause at the same time.
The Golf Course Superintendents Association of America will be holding its annual Rounds 4 Research auction beginning Monday through May 5 at www.rounds4research.com. Here is a link to the actual auction site.
From Oklahoma, rounds at more than 30 courses will be up for bid including many of the state’s best public and private courses. More than 80 percent of the revenue raised stays in the state to benefit programs run by the Oklahoma Golf Course Superintendent’s Association, including research, education and leadership.
Courses you can bid on include Adams Golf Club, Bailey Ranch Golf Club, Broken Arrow Golf & Athletic Club, Cedar Creek Golf Course, Cherokee Hills Golf Club, Chickasaw Pointe Golf Course, Dornick Hills Golf & Country Club, Duncan Golf and Tennis Club, Grand Cherokee Golf Course, Hillcrest Country Club, Jimmie Austin Golf Club, KickingBird Golf Club, Lakeside Memorial Golf Course, McAlester Country Club, Meadowlake Golf Course, Mohawk Park Golf Course, Muskogee Golf Club, Oaks Country Club, Oak Tree Country Club, Oakwood Country Club, Owasso Golf and Athletic Club, Page Belcher Golf Course, Roman Nose State Park Golf Course, Stillwater Country Club, The Canyons at Blackjack Ridge, The Club at Indian Springs, The Golf Club of Edmond, The Greens Country Club. The Territory, The Trails Golf Club and Tulsa Country Club.
The GCSAA conducts the auction through the EIFG, Environment Institute for Golf – the philanthropic organization of GCSAA. Fantastic courses and stay and play packages from all states are up for bid as well.
