Son moves up to tie for 19th in Girls Junior PGA Championship

Yujeong Son of Norman crept back into contention with a 3-under 69 Wednesday in the second round of the Girls Junior PGA Championship at The Country Club of St. Albans, Mo.

Son, of Norman, is eight shots behind co-leaders Rose Zhang, Yealimi Noh and Hailee Cooper. She is tied for 19th in the 72-hole stroke play event with 36 holes to play.

Missing the cut were Taylor Towers of Owasso (75-83), Summer Marshall of Norman (82-79) and Jenni Roller of Jenks (88-85).
