In their second tournament of the year, the Sooners, who are ranked No. 10 in the Golf World/NIKE Golf Coaches Poll, finished 19 strokes behind No. 5 California and two strokes clear of third-place and sixth-ranked Oklahoma State. “Overall for the week we did very well,” OU head coach Ryan Hybl said. “This is a tough course, and Cal just made it look easy. We have a lot to learn and to take away from this week, so it is time to go back to the drawing board. We had all five guys finish in the top 20, and that is something great to take away from this event.”
