Against the 13-team field, OU tallied a 7-over 287 on Friday, finishing the day nine strokes off No. 1 seed and fourth-ranked Stanford. The top five teams and the low individual not on those teams will advance to the 30-team NCAA Championships, slated for May 23-28 at Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kan.

"It was another really good day for us as a team," OU head coach Ryan Hybl said. "We played tough, and the golf course was playing even tougher. We need one more strong day tomorrow and to keep fighting."

For the second straight day, junior Michael Gellerman and sophomore Beau Titsworth shot the same score. Their 2-over 72s brought their two-round totals to 141 (+1), good for a tie for seventh place.
