OKLAHOMA CITY – Southwestern Oklahoma State nabbed its second win of the fall season, claiming the GAC Women’s Preview Tuesday at Lake Hefner Golf Course.

The Lady Bulldogs had three golfers finish in the top five, as Chloe Thackery placed third, Gloria Choi fourth and Elis Wahlin tied for fifth. Also Emily Folsom tied for 10th and Jenna Eidem tied for 18th.

Jessie Goodwin and Courtney Gourdin were SWOSU’s individuals at the event carding matching scores of 166 (+22) and tying for the 31st spot.

Frida Rydberg from Arkansas-Monticello was the medalist with rounds of 75-71 for a 2-over 146.

SWOSU finished the tournament with a stroke total of 611 (+35) nine shots ahead of Arkansas-Monticello which finished with 620, and ten ahead of Henderson State. This marks the squad’s fourth top-10 finish of the fall season. The Lady Bulldogs will get back to action October 24-25 for the Henderson State Fall Invitational at Hot Springs, Ark.
