Oklahoma City native and former Southern Nazarene star Blake Trimble shot a 4-under 66 Wednesday in the second round of the Bravado Wireless Real Okie Challenge on the All Pro Tour at Muskogee Country Club. Trimble moved to 6-under through 36 holes, two shots ahead of Logan McCracken of Oklahoma City and Jace Long of Frisco, Texas.
McCracken is going for his third consecutive victory on the All-Pro Tour, a prominent developmental tour for professional golfers. He shot a 1-under 69 in the second round. The tournament continues with 18 holes today and Friday.
Other Oklahomans to make the cut include former Jenks and Oklahoma State golfer Brendon Jelley and former Sallisaw and OSU golfer Trent Whitekiller, both tied for 25th at 3-over.
