Tulsa women place 16th at Ron Moore Intercollegiate

Denver, Colo. – Tulsa’s Antonia Von Wnuck, playing as an individual, finished in 17th place at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate on Sunday. Von Wnuck finished with a final round 74 for a 213 total at the par-72 Highlands Ranch Golf Club. The Hurricane team placed 16th overall with a 54-hole total of 914 after scoring a round of 304 today.
Tulsa’s Nadia Nadia Majidizadeh and Mackenzie Medders finished the tournament tied for 53rd place with scores of 227. Both golfers turned in a final round 77 today. Johanna Samuelsson placed 68th overall and had Tulsa’s best round of the day with a one-over par 73, while Alex Haun finished in 80th place at 234 and Olivia Jackson placed 82nd with a total of 235.
Host Denver captured the team title after turning in a two-under par 286 score on Sunday for an 862 total, finishing five strokes ahead of second-place San Francisco.
Individually, Kassidy Teare of Long Beach State won individual medalist honors with an eight-under par 208 total after turning in rounds of 71-68 and 69 today.
Tulsa is in action next at the Betsy Rawls Invitational, October 19-20, at the University of Texas Golf Club in Austin, Texas.
