DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Play in the third round of the NAIA Championships was halted due to inclement weather and course conditions Thursday at LPGA International.
The Stars, ranked No. 3 in NAIA men’s golf, sat in a tie for third place with Costal Georgia with a score of 287-294—581 after the first two rounds. OCU will resume play at 7:30 a.m. CDT.

In addition to the delay, the NAIA Championships will be shortened to 54 holes from its original 72-hole format because play has to be completed by the end of the day Friday. The decision was made by the National Championships Tournament Committee, in conjunction with the event’s rules officials, to guarantee quality and consistent playing conditions for all 156 golfers.
