WOGA Stroke Play Championship rescheduled

The Women’s Oklahoma Golf Association Stroke Play and Mid-Amateur Championships scheduled Tuesday and Wednesday at The Golf Club of Oklahoma in Broken Arrow have been rescheduled for Aug. 10-11 due to high water and the high probability of more rain this week.

The Golf Club of Oklahoma has been hit hard by flooding this spring. The back nine holes were closed for more than a week in May when Lake Kadashan, a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers detention lake, left its banks and covered parts of the 15th and 18th greens as well as made carts paths impassable.
