Tracy Phillips and Michael Boyd will square off for the PGA South Central Section Match Play Championship. However, persistent rain prevented the final match between the two good friends from being played Wednesday as scheduled and it will now be played July 21.

Phillips, the director of instruction at Cedar Ridge Country Club, reached the final with a 4 and 3 victory over Kyle Ingram from Little Links Golf Course in the semifinals after a 1 up victory over Brian Soerensen of Kickingbird Golf Course in Edmond in the quarterfinals.

Boyd, the director of golf at The Club at Indian Springs, pulled off a 1 up victory over Shannon Friday of Lake Hefner Golf Course in Oklahoma City in the semifinals after a 1 up victory in 20 holes over Pat McTigue of GolfTec Tulsa in the morning quarterfinals.
