ORU fights off wind to finish fourth at ASU Invitational

MAUMELLE, Ark. – Windy conditions blew up the scores across the board at Maumelle Country Club and the Oral Roberts women’s golf team finished the Little Rock/ASU Invitational finished fourth as a team at 920 (302-304-314), while Alejandra Acosta earned her first top-5 finish of the season. Central Arkansas maintained its lead and won the championship at 902 (299-295-308).

Acosta led the team for the first time this season as the reigning Summit League Golfer of the Year finished in a tie for fourth, her highest finish of the year. The best team score on Tuesday at a 306 from Wichita State.
