ORU men lead Summit League Championship

LOMPOC, Calif. – The Oral Roberts men’s golf team got three birdies on the first four holes and led the majority of round one of the 2015 Summit League Championships Friday at La Purisima Golf Course. ORU (299) carries a six shot lead into the second round and holds the top two individual spots.
 
Parker Dolezal leads the field with a 70, while Scott Newell sits in second at 72. Dolezal used five birdies on the day, second in the field, and was tops on the par 3 holes at 2.50 (-2). Dolezal and Newell were each tied for second in par 4 scoring at even par 4.00.
