100-year anniversary of Lincoln Park

All manner of great charity and fund-raising events are on the horizon that the public is welcome to play in. You can play Southern Hills, party and play golf with John Daly, celebrate the 100-year anniversary of Lincoln Park, support the athletic departments at Tulsa Public Schools and much more.

Play Southern Hills in Oklahoma Golf Hall of Fame Classic!

The Oklahoma Golf Hall of Fame has announced that its 2022 Hall of Fame Classic will be Oct. 24 at Southern Hills Country Club. That’s right, this is your chance to play the same course that the world’s best golfers will be challenging during the 2022 PGA Championship May 19-22.

The format is a pro-am, so a professional and four amateurs or teams of five amateurs allowed as well. The tournament includes breakfast, tee gifts, awards luncheon and is the major fundraiser for the Oklahoma Golf Hall of Fame.

Cost is $1,000 per player, so teams  of  four with a professional are $4,000 and teams of five amateurs are $5,000.  Click here for entry form and more details.

The Oklahoma Golf Hall of Fame annually awards $5,000 scholarships to male and female high school seniors and a $5,000 cash award to a graduating Oklahoma collegian to help start their career in the form on the Everett Dobson Award. Party and golf with John Daly for Ronald McDonald House Charities

Want to rock and roll all night and party all day. Then bid on this unique chance to do so with one John Daly, who will be the guest of honor at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Tulsa Pro-Am Classic on Monday, May 23 at The Golf Club of Oklahoma.

Profits from this event will help keep families close to their children receiving medical care and treatment in Tulsa hospitals. Funds raised enable the Ronald McDonald House to provide resources to families at no cost. Lincoln Park celebrates 100 years with 100-player tournaments

Lincoln Park, the wonderful 36-hole public facility in Oklahoma City, will be celebrating its 100th anniversary this summer. The home of Oklahoma Golf Hall of Fame legends such as former professional U.C. Ferguson and his prize student Susie Maxwell Berning, Lincoln Park has been a foundation of enjoyment for hundreds of thousands of Oklahoma City golfers since 1922.

The Lincoln Park 100th Anniversary Celebration will be Aug. 13 at 8 a.m. with tournaments on both the East and West Course. The West Course will host a two-person best ball with competitions for both gross and net. The East Course will host a four-person scramble. Cost for both is just $100 per player including green fee, cart fee, range balls, lunch, tee gifts and awards.

TPS Athletic Department Golf Tournament June 3 at LaFortune Park

The 22nd Annual Tulsa Public Schools Athletic Department Golf Tournament is scheduled June 3 at LaFortune Park Golf Course in Tulsa. The popular tournament raises money for the TPS athletic departments endeavoring to help with facilities and equipment for all teams in the Tulsa Public Schools system.

The four-person scramble is $125 per player or $425 per team. Hole sponsorships are $100. Fees include round, cart, range balls,  lunch, raffle and prizes. To register, call the LaFortune Park pro shop at 918-496-6200.
