Streb nearly wins Greenbrier Classic without a putter
Edmond North graduate Robert Streb broke his putter during the final round of the Greenbrier Classic, but that didn’t stop him from making a run on the back nine while putting with a wedge.
Streb broke his putter while tossing it to his caddie at the ninth hole at The Old White TPC at Greenbrier Resort, according to the CBS telecast, and he is not able to replace it during play. He made three birdies over the first four holes on the back nine, playing the side in 4-under 32. Streb played his way into a four-man playoff but lost to Danny Lee.
