Edmond North graduate Robert Streb tees off in his first Masters Thursday at 11:25 a.m., paired with Ben Martin and Cameron Tringale.

Golf Oklahoma chatted with Streb briefly on his 28th birthday Tuesday when he came outside the ropes near the putting green at The Masters to visit his wife and infant daughter. He said Augusta National was just as amazing as he had anticipated but felt his game would hold up well there.

After a fantastic fall run, Streb has struggled a bit since taking time off for the birth of daughter Catherine Joye. He missed the cut on the number last week at Houston despite shooting 3-under for two rounds. He earned his way into The Masters with a playoff victory in the McGladrey Classic at Sea Island Resort.
